Act I – The Weight of Routine
Beydi Wells is a devoted photographer, wife, and mother of two toddlers whose days blur together under the strain of work, childcare, and exhaustion. Her creativity has dulled, her confidence eroded by body dysmorphia and constant comparison. She moves through life on autopilot — doing everything for everyone but herself.
One morning, she rushes to leave for a branding shoot. The house is chaotic — toys scattered, kids fussing. Her husband is heading out the door for work. There’s just enough time for a quick kiss — a silent, tired exchange — before they both rush off into the noise of their separate routines.
Later that day, Beydi drives to a quiet library for her shoot, hoping to find a moment of peace. But her client never arrives. As she waits, an old woman appears from between the aisles and murmurs, “Your life will change today.”
Beydi forces a polite smile, unsettled. Then she notices a book on the floor. When she picks it up, a photo of a strikingly beautiful model slips out. The woman in the picture seems everything Beydi is not — confident, elegant, flawless. Beydi whispers without thinking, “I wish I looked like her.”
Act II – The Switch
Back in her car, Beydi adjusts her rearview mirror — and freezes. It’s not her reflection staring back. It’s the woman from the photograph. Her face, her hair, her body — all transformed.
At first, she’s terrified. Her hands shake as she touches her unfamiliar skin. But then awe replaces fear. She steps out of the car and sees how the world looks at her differently now — admiringly, curiously. For the first time in years, she feels alive.

Beydi spends the day lost in her new identity — shopping, taking pictures, eating without guilt, laughing freely. She feels untouchable, powerful, beautiful. The life she always envied now belongs to her.
But as night falls, she drives home. When her husband opens the door, he doesn’t recognize her. Confused, he asks if she’s lost. Her children hide behind his legs, crying for their mother. Beydi pleads — “It’s me, it’s Beydi!” — but her voice sounds like a stranger’s.
Her husband closes the door, leaving her on the porch in disbelief. She bangs on it, screaming, tears streaming down her face. Alone in the darkness, she collapses, realizing she’s trapped in a life that isn’t hers.
Act III – The Unthinkable Twist
The next morning, Beydi wakes up in her own bed. Her heart pounds as she rushes to the mirror — her reflection is back. Her real face, her real body. She exhales shakily, whispering, “It was just a dream.”

She runs downstairs, laughing, eager to tell her husband about the strange nightmare. But when he turns around, he’s aged decades. His hair is gray, his voice weaker.
Her two toddlers run into the room — except they’re not toddlers anymore. They’re grown, a young man and woman in their mid-20s.
Her daughter, teary-eyed, says, “Mom… you finally woke up.”
Beydi stands frozen. The house looks exactly the same — the same furniture, the same light — but time has moved without her. She stumbles backward, trembling.
Through the window, she sees the old woman from the library standing on the sidewalk, watching her silently. The woman smiles faintly… then turns and walks away.
Beydi’s breath quickens. The sound of her heartbeat fills the air. She lets out a raw, piercing scream — and the screen cuts to black.
